In the space of four days, Ihipa McGee has managed to rack up wins in Savannah Criterium, Doha - Umm Bab - Doha and Biscarrosse Streets. These 3 wins follow his impressive third win at Nassau Streets
The 36 year old veteran of NSW Sporting has now ridden to 6 victories this season and has no plans on stopping this rich vein of form.
Not only has the Kiwi Captain reveled in his hat-trick of victories this week, it has also seen him don the New Zealand National Jersey as leader of the NZ Tour Ranking, something he hasn't managed to do for many seasons. He has also moved into 6th position in all time points earned for New Zealand riders.
Manager of NSW Sporting, Ross David, suspects that McGee isn't done for the season either. "While he is in this kind of form, he will be lining up in at least another two races in the coming weeks before we assess what his end of season goals may be" Ross said.

impressive season!
I will miss him for sure. I just wish i had figured out how to play this game properly when he was younger. I would have loved to see how prolific he could have been.
To be forever young. You're going to miss him when he retires. Hope you can save some money to find a replacement.
